A. I have a nano too. Go to the main menu and scroll down to 'Extras' (the third selection). Then the first selection you are taken to would be 'Clock'. Press it and then it will take you to the clock you set as the main clock. Press again and the first selection will be titled 'Alarm Clock'. After you press that, you have to scroll to the second selection which should be titled 'Time'. You will be taken to a screen that will allow you to set the alarm clock time when you press that second selection. I hope this helped!

A. I don't think there's anything you can do, really. How long ago did you buy it? you could try taking it back to the store and see if they will replace it for you. Or you could send it back to the company. I don't know what the Apple policy is, but it should be available on the site or take it into your local Apple store or Best Buy. Someone there will probably be able to help you. Sorry, i don't know much about i Pods!

A. You should try getting a new screen, I had a similar problem with a replacement screen for my old nano 1st generation; I got a replacement and it worked. If you get a new one I'll buy the old one off of you.

A. If you had it for three months, it would probably go under the one year warranty. You can go to the apple store and tell them how you broke it, they will possibly fix it for free or replace it with a new ipod.

A. Well it's PS45.00 which is $90 round about just for the screen. Plus you'd have to pay someone to fix it if you couldn't do it yourself. Thats alot just for a screen.

How do i clean my ipod nano screen?
Q. My ipod nano has some pretty bad bruises on its screen and i want to wipe it clean...But how??
Asked by Jill R - Sun Jun 8 16:43:49 2008 - Monitors - 2 Answers - Comments

A. 1 part isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol to 10 parts distilled or reverse osmosis water. Apply it to a clean, soft cloth and then wring it out until it is just damp. Wipe the screen gently in one direction only. If it's very dirty you may need to repeat the procedure. Never put the solution directly on the screen and do not use paper towels, kleenex, or washcloths as they scratch. Make sure the screen is dry before you turn it on again or put the unit away.

How can i change my ipod nano screen lock if i have forgotten my code to unlock it?
Q.
Asked by blackbeltgj - Fri Mar 9 21:59:38 2007 - Music & Music Players - 1 Answers - Comments

A. The truth is if you really want to lock your i Pod again, you would have to do a i Pod restore form the i Pod screen in the i Tunes menu. That way (once it is restored) There will be no prefrences set on the i Pod, including the code, but you would have to re-add all your songs from your i Pod. To do all this will take a lot of loading for the restore proccess (depending on how high on the line our ipod is, shuffle, nano, mini, video.) and some more time to re-add songs (up to 15 minutes if you have more than 1000) But if you need screen lock for protection. Thats what your gonna need to do

How do I fix my Ipod nano screen from freezing?
Q. I have a 4th generation ipod nano that is about 8 months old. Recently I have had problems with the ipod "sticking". At random points during a song, the ipod's screen (while the music continues to play as instructed) will freeze, preventing me from adjusting volume, changing song, navigating the menu, turning off, or doing other functions. After about 20 seconds, the screen unfreezes, only to repeat about 30 seconds later. Please help. Any suggestions are useful.

A. Have you ever tried restarting your nano? or how about restoring it? These two methods usually work in these small problems. To restart your nano manually, hold both the center button and the menu button until the screen blanks out and then reboots by itself. Let go once it restarts. It might be around 10 seconds or so. You could also try restoring the nano because there might be a bug in it. To restore, simply plug the nano in i Tunes, and press the restore button in the middle of the screen =]

A. I've never tried this on an i Pod screen, but it works on watch crystals. Facial oil. Wash your face as you ordinarily do, then a few hours later, when normal facial oils make you a little shiny, apply some of that shine with Nature's applicator, your nose. It makes minor scratches on the face of your watch disappear. Even if it doesn't help the Nano, it can't hurt.

Why does my i Pod Nano Screen keep going white?
Q. I have an older i Pod Nano it was the first square one Apple came out with so its kinda old--- for some reason the screen goes white for hours at a time and no matter what I do I can't get it to go back. Each time it happens its completely random, do i just need a new one?
Asked by - Mon Jun 27 21:43:30 2011 - Music & Music Players - 1 Answers - Comments

A. the next time it happens, try resetting it (hold center button and play/pause button at the same time until the apple icon appears on the screen). if it keeps acting up, try contacting apple to see if you can figure out what's going on. if it still acts up after that, then maybe it's time to get a new i Pod. i hope i was somewhat helpful :D
